Wine Notes:

An exceptional example of a classic "old world" style Chianti Classico selected to represent the traditional values that are Tommy Lasorda and his Italian heritage.

This wine hails from the world renowned and famous Italian wine region of Gallo Nero in Chianti Classico, in the heart Tuscany, and is part of an assortment of wines that were carefully researched and selected over many months by Tommy himself, and a staff led by a Master Sommelier, several sommeliers, and certified wine specialists.

Winemaker Notes:

Aging in French Oak for one year gives this wine its traditional character and complexity, and a deep ruby red color with garnet hues. On the nose it is wide and full with intense lingering aromas and spiced notes. This elegant and well balanced wine has subtle flavors of vanilla, cocoa and spice, a smooth body soft and warm, with a long, slightly dry and velvety finish. A wine that truly gets better with age!

This wine can be enjoyed young, but becomes more refined for 5–8 years.
At its best when opened or decanted 30 to 45 minutes or longer, prior to serving.

Pairing:

It's almost impossible to incorrectly pair this wine with anything. Best served with roasted or grilled meats, rotisserie chicken, and perfect with pasta.
