Wine Notes:

A Classic Italian Gem from the Carmignano Hills of Tuscany, this amazing wine is classified as one of the most Prestigious and sought-after DOCG red wines in Italy today.

Produced within the strict DOCG guidelines, standards, and controls, and the production laws set by the Consorzio di Vini Carmignano, Carmignano is one of the smallest DOCG production zones in Italy. Made with the finest selection of grapes, by original Consorzio and DOCG specification this is a true, traditional, and classic style Carmignano blend. Centuries ago, these wines were the most valuable wines produced in Italy and mostly reserved for members of the Italian Royal Families.

Winemaker Notes:

A real gem, this wine is deep ruby red in color with a full and rich body. The bouquet is wide and well structured with great intensity and persistence. Most interesting is the perfect marriage that comes out between red ripe fruits, wild berries, and the vanilla and spicy notes of the French Allier Barriques. The flavors first impact is warm and soft, expanding more and more and marked by the good tension of the tannins and by the confirmation of the rich intense body. The finish is long, pleasant and fulfilling.

This wine becomes more refined for 5–10 years.

Decanting Highly Recommended.
Special Note: Extremely Limited Annual Production.

Pairing:

Pairs exceptionally well with wild game, roasted or grilled meats, and savory pasta dishes.
