Growing Conditions: 2004 featured a normal bud break following an early April frost. Summer had more hot days, but pleasant; with harvest several weeks later than normal. Lower than average yields produce lush, incredibly rich red wines.
Tasting Notes: An earthy wine with chocolate and leather nuances, this wine speaks to both red and black fruit. Our 2004 Syrah finishes dry with hints of blueberry.
Cellaring: Drinks very well immediately and will continue to "improve with age" for years to come. Enjoy by 2013.
